in phonetics. It enables students to understand variances in the
German language (but not dialects) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The course package is comprised of three elements.
Magazin: Containing
pictures and texts, photos and caricatures; a photo-story and
a comic. The magazine provides for pleasurable interaction with
the German language.
Lernstationen:
The "learning stations" are the actual course
and workbook with exercises, explanations and rules, texts and
pictures.
CD's mit Sprechübungen:
CDs with speech exercises
that train the standard pronounciation in Germany, Austria and
Switzerland.
The course package
1-3 takes students to level B1 of the Common European Framework
of Reference for Languages ("Zertifikat Deutsch").
Course package 4 takes students to level B2.
